The CLAT Current Affairs section is entirely passage-based. You will read passages (from news, journalistic sources, non-fiction) and answer questions based on the information provided in the passage, often requiring contextual understanding of the events or issues discussed.
Rote memorization of standalone facts/dates is less important than your ability to comprehend and analyze a given narrative. Focus on understanding the "who, what, when, where, why, and how" of events as presented in text.
(Highest Priority) Stay updated with recent national and global events, their context, and implications as presented in journalistic passages.
(Low Priority (Contextual/Embedded)) Basic GK facts often appear as background in passages. Focus on understanding them within context, not rote memorization.
(Medium Priority (Overlap)) Focus on understanding the facts and implications of recent legal developments as presented in news articles.
You've reviewed the concepts. Now, apply them in a real test environment.
